Our Goaltending was solid. Our Blueline stood tall. Our Forwards skated hard, crashed the net, scored 9 goals in 3 games and overall we saved our best performances for the end of season this past weekend, while playing in the East Gwillimbury Spring Fling Hockey Tournament. Penalties proved costly for the boys in games 1 and 2 as they lost both games on Friday by scores of 3-2, as the opponent from East Gwillimbury and Erie North Shore scored 5 of the 6 goals while on the power play and that was the difference in both games.

While the boys cannot be faulted for effort, the goalies cannot be faulted for GA, and the Coaches have done their best, generating offence has been a problem for this team all season. Arm chair coaches will all agree 5 goals in 6 games is just not going to cut it in the OMHA playoffs. Owen Sound Harold Sutherland Major PeeWees went 1 and 5 in OHMA playoffs over the past 3 weeks and were, as most teams end up, bounced from further OMHA play.
