Major Peewees Earn 3 of 4 Points this Weekend
The team travelled to Woolwich on Friday night with the goal of winning the game and taking a lead in the season series already tied at a game apiece.  Goals by Matthew Lyall and Tyson Wilkins helped the team take a 2 2 tie into the third period.  Reese Pettigrew stood tall stopping at least 2 breakaways and several quality scoring opportunities by Woolwich.

Lyall and Wilkins each scored again in the third to give Owen Sound a 4 2 lead early.  Woolwich was not to be denied as they pressed hard, kept the puck in the Owen Sound end and jammed two goals past the OS net minder late in the third period holding on to tie the season series to 1 1 1.  Assists in the game went to Matt Lyall, Tanner Prior, Alex MacNeil and Darren Vanderschot

On Sunday the team experienced some rough stuff against the Dundas Flyers in a home game at the coliseum. The Jr Attack held in tough to pull off a 5 – 2 win. Both Alex MacNeil and Tyson Wilkins will be waiting for a call from the Commissioner as they were each ejected from the game. Dundas also saw one of their players ushered from the ice following some chippy play. Goals came from Tyson Wilkins, Matthew Lyall, Brady Brown, Garrett Logie and Noah Rouse.  Assists came from Cody Liske, Mathew Struthers, Tyson Wilkins, Logan McComb, Garret Logie and Mathew Lyall. Ryan Winters stopped 14 of the 16 shots he faced to earn his 6th win between the pipes. The team now has a dead even 8-8-2 record and has exactly 37 goals for and against.
