Quick Lube Jr. Attack Earn First Tri-County Playoff Win!
The Quick Lube Owen Sound Novice A Jr. Attack posted their first win in Tri-County playoff action blanking the visiting Milton Winterhawks 1-0.

Myles Playter earned the shutout

The entire team played hard every shift throughout the entire game and are deserving of accolades for the victory.
The boys and girls of the Novice A Jr. Attack squad picked the right time to peak as they have strung together several strong performances from the end of the season through to their first few playoff games.

Down the stretch they tied the second place team (Midland 3-3) and the first place team (Collingwood 2-2) in Georgian Bay Hockey League action. They also lost two close games to Woolwich Wildcats (4-2 and 3-1) in Tri-County playoff action showing their improvement from an earlier 7-1 loss to the same Wildcat team in tournament play.

In their first meeting versus the Milton Winterhawks on the road, it took overtime to determine the home team victory 2-1.

Next weekend they wrap up the first round of Tri-County Playoffs with their third and final game versus Woolwich at 12 noon (Rec Centre) before travelling to Milton for a 2:30 rubber match versus the Winterhawks.
