2023 General Registration Info
Registration for the 2023-24 Season starts April 11th, 2023. Registration for U10-U18 will close July 31st, 2023 and Registration for U5-U9 will close August 31st, 2023.
Registration will be on a first come first serve basis as numbers for each age division are limited. Any registrations after a division is filled or following the closing dates will be added to a waiting list and acceptance will be determined based on availability.
All registration for Owen Sound Minor Hockey players for the 2023-24 season will be completed on the Hockey Canada Spordle website. For players who live outside of Owen Sound, or those new to hockey, please be sure to follow the guidelines provided below.
Registration will happen in two steps:
1. Players interested in body checking clinics and A level tryouts will register for these events first.
2. Registration for the general hockey season (Junior Development, Local League & Representative level) will open May 27th, 2023.

*Registration fees increase by $50 for U10-U18 as of August 1st, 2023 and for U5-U9 as of September 1st, 2023.
Method of Payment
Payment must be made by credit card at the time of registration. You have two options for payment: Full payment at the time of registration or an initial payment (25%) and three equal installments for the remainder (July 1st, August 1st and September 1st, 2023).
Eligibility to Play in Owen Sound
House League Teams (U5 - U7): Players who reside in the surrounding area may register to play House League Hockey in Owen Sound.
Representative / Local League Teams (U8 - U18): A player must play in their "Home Centre", which is the closest centre that offers a hockey program. Players who live in Owen Sound, or are eligible to play in Owen Sound under regulation 3.4 (Right of Choice) of the OMHA guidelines, can play representative hockey here. Non-Resident Cards: Players from outside the city of Owen Sound are required to pay a non-resident fee. This is done by purchasing a non-resident card from the City of Owen Sound. The transaction number for the card will be required during the registration process for the regular season (not the registration for tryouts etc.).
