Novice AEs battle hard in Stayner
The Owen Sound QuikLube Junior Attack novice AEs fell in a hard-fought game in Stayner on Tuesday night.
Tyson Morrison and Cole Gowan scored in a close 4-2 loss. Landon Sanford made several big saves in the Owen Sound goal. Jacob Duncan earned the hardest working player hard hat for playing a strong defensive game.
On the weekend the novice AEs travelled to Coldwater where they played a good game, but fell 8-2. Noah Hemstock and Curtis Arnold scored the Owen Sound goals.
On Saturday the Junior Attack dropped a 7-2 decision to Honeywood.
Hemstock and Sam Barrett scored for the Junior Attack, who now have an 2-8 record on the season.
The novice AEs now have a break from Georgian Bay league play, but travel to Teeswater on Saturday where they will play in a tournament.
