Novice AEs storm back
The Owen Sound QuikLube Junior Attack novice AEs almost completed the comeback against the Wasaga Stars in Georgian Bay Minor Hockey League playoff action on Sunday

Wasaga scored the first two goals of the game before Curtis Arnold got Owen Sound on the board, scoring on a pass from Cole Gowan.
Wasaga then scored the next five goals to make the score 7-1 for the home squad.
That is when the Junior Attack took control of the game.
Noah Hemstock scored to make it 7-2, followed by Devon Long to make it 7-3.
Gowan then scored, assisted by Arnold and Eric Barnard. Arnold scored next, assisted by Barnard and Gowan to make the score 7-5.
Hemstock then scored his second of the game, with Long earning the assist to pull the Junior Attack within one.
Wasaga scored the final goal of the game to make the score 8-6.
Owen Sound had two goals called back in the game and Wasaga scored one that didn't appear to be in the net.
The Junior Attack get another crack at the Stars next Saturday at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre.
On Saturday the Junior Attack travelled to Orangeville for their final Ontario Minor Hockey Association playdown game.
Landon Sanford was the hero of the game for the Junior Attack, making several big saves against a strong Orangeville team.
Orangeville skated away with a 4-0 win, but the Junior Attack played a strong team game.
