Novice AEs play in Flesherton
The Owen Sound QuikLube Junior Attack novice AEs travelled to Flesherton on Tuesday.
Despite playing a strong game Owen Sound fell 8-1 to the Golden Hawks.
Noah Hemstock scored the lone goal for Owen Sound.
Owen Sound was coming off its first win of the season on Saturday, where the team had a dominating performance in a 6-1 win over the Shelburne Wolves.
Hemstock led the offence on Saturday with a hat trick. Devon Long, Landen Humphries and Eric Barnard scored single markers.
Landon Sanford stood tall in the Owen Sound goal, making several big saves in both games.
Owen Sound's record now sits at 1-4-0 with the team playing a pair of games this upcoming weekend.
On Saturday, Oct. 22 Owen Sound faces the Grand Valley Twisters at 1:10 p.m. at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre. On Sunday, Oct 23 the novice AEs travel to Wasaga Beach for a Georgian Bay Minor Hockey League game.
