A Winning Weekend!
On Friday night the U14 A team won 4-2 at home against the Hespeler Shamrocks! On Saturday they won 2-1 in a match up versus Burlington Eagles Gold.
At the Bayshore the boys showed up to play! Our team out shot the Shamrocks. Ben Warwick had a hat trick!! Ben's first goal was assisted by Holden Cosby and Duke McGlynn. Ben's second goal was assisted by Simon Hornick and Duke McGlynn. The third goal was scored by Darion Hicks - assisted by Paddy Shaughnessy-Watkins and Gryphon Barber. Ben's third goal was assisted by Paddy Shaughnessy-Watkins. Paul McKenna made some nice saves! The boys worked hard and it paid off!!
On Saturday our team traveled to Burlington. It was 1-0 for Burlington going into the third period. With 1:11 left in play Gryphon Barber scored! The goal was assisted by David Bedford and Tysen Gass. With 0:32 left in the game Darion Hicks scored, assisted by Cade Norton. Nothing like an exciting win at the end of the 3rd period! Michael Maloney made some big saves. Way to go boys!
