1-1 for the Weekend
The U14 Rep team went 1-1 for the weekend with an away and a home game.
On Friday Oct 13th evening they played Woolwich Wildcats in Elmira and had a 6-1 loss. Our goal was scored by Ben Warwick, unassisted. Unfortunately Paul McKenna, our goalie, had to leave the game in the 2nd due to an injury. Thanks to Jacob Fry, the AP goalie, for making the trip to Elmira and taking over the net for the 2nd half of the game.
The morning of Sunday Oct 15th our team skated away with a 9-1 win over Caledon Hawks. It was a barn burner! Our first goal was tipped in by Paddy Shaughnessy-Watkins, assisted by Tysen Gass. Cade Norton scored the second goal, assisted by David Bedford. Holden Cosby scored his first goal of the season, assisted by Keagan McGregor. Darion Hicks scored his first goal of the season and was assisted by Simon Hornick and Grady Shannon. Cade Norton scored his second goal, unassisted. The sixth goal was scored by Gryphon Barber, assisted by Grady Shannon. Darion Hicks scored again, assisted by Simon Hornick. Ben Warwick scored; assisted by Gryphon Barber and Alex Jarman. Our ninth goal was Grady Shannon’s first goal of the season, assisted by Holden Cosby and Gryphon Barber. Jacob Fry, goaltender, had a great game. It was a great team effort by all!
