The Locking Business Furnishings U10 Jr. Attack team bounced back this
past weekend with a tie and a win to improve to 1-1-1 on the regular season
schedule.
Saturday, the U10’s played host to the visiting Halton Hills Thunder in a televised game at the Bayshore! Despite hoping out to an early lead thanks to a lose puck tapped home one handed by Griffin Ward the team would settle for a 2-2 tie after allowing a late goal with only 1:49 to play. Sunday the team traveled to Brampton to take on the 45’s hoping to build on steady improvements from game to game. The Jr. Attack were quickly energized as Jeffrey McManaman scored 23 seconds into the game to open the scoring. The squad wouldn’t look back adding goals from Ben Nicol, Lance Fisher and Brock Aljoe while playing great in their defensive zone to support Kyle Bumstead on his first shut-out of the year!
Jr Attacker’s of the Game this weekend were Carter Feltis and Ben Nicol for their hard work implementing the coaches message of passing, playing as a team and hard work!
