Attack Defeated in Season Home Opener
The Owen Sound Garb & Gear Source for Sports Jr Attack Minor Pee Wee's played host to the Burlington Eagles on Sunday.
It was a slow start to the game with no scoring in the first period.
Burlington opened the scoring early in the second with their first marker right off the face off.
The Eagles tallied two more making the score 3-0 at the end of the second.
The Attack opened the third when CJ Hughes slipped it over to Joseph Pringle who got the shot away and Gavin Downs was able to find the back of the net.
With 4:31 remaining, Sam Shakes of the Attack received a breakaway pass from Nick Mandeno making the final score 3-2 Eagles.
Mason Adams made some key saves keeping the Attack in the game.
