Gavillier & Company Bantams, OMHA Semi Finalists
Proud is the word that comes to mind after losing game 4 to Amherstburg in the OMHA Semi Finals.

6 times during the OMHA playoffs this team was facing elimination and 6 times they came out on top and advanced to the OMHA Semi Finals, however today was not their day and the lucky # 7 was not so lucky.

Regardless of that, these young men of the Gaviller & Company Jr. Attack Bantams should hold their heads very high. I know they feel down now, which is natural, but they all have to understand that they were a top 4 team in Ontario during the OMHA playoffs, which is a nothing short of spectacular. I do not think there were many that would have said  this team had a chance make it past the OMHA Round Robin, but boys, you sure proved them wrong and you took it all the way to the OMHA Semi Finals. What a terrific and awesome accomplishment.

15wins, 7 losses, and 2 ties. That was this teams Record was since Dec 27th. You won the Christmas Classic in Niagara on the Lake, went 5-1 in the OMHA Round Robin, beat Woolwich 2-1 in Round 2, beat Burlington 3-2 in the OMHA Quarter Finals and then lost 3-1 to Amherstburg in the OMHA Semi Finals. Just a sensational second half of the season and you should all be so very proud of yourselves.  You showed us heart, grit, determination, skill, teamwork and a don't stop, be better everyday attitude and believed in yourselves and the results speak for themselves. OMHA Semi Finalists.

I personally want to say thank you all for letting me be the Manager and part of this great team and season, but more so to say that on behalf of the Coaching Staff, Parents, Family and Friends, we are all so very proud of each and everyone of you players for a simply terrific season of hockey. You should all take a bow, hold your heads high and be very proud of what you accomplished this season. It is simply Awesome.

Although our regular and playoff season is over, the fun and hockey is not quite yet. Onto Detroit the end of March for the Detroit/Montreal game on the 27th and then compete in the Motown Cup the 28th-30th. Should be a great weekend of hockey and fun for all.

Thank you all very much and see you soon
