Today was a special day at the Julie McArthur
Regional Recreation Centre. The Owen Sound Minor Atom Booy's Action Auto team
had a chance to show our love and support for one of our own.
It is breast cancer awareness month and one of our team mothers is battling breast cancer. She is a strong woman surrounded by love and support so she will kick cancer's butt. Today we taped our sticks in pink, wore pink ties as bench staff, used pink laces and the families in the crowd donned pink attire.
We look after our own here on this team as all good teams do. We will continue to wear pink while we support our team mate and I invite you to do the same. Secondary to today's show of support was a second win in two games to start the season. Great job today team on all levels!
