Gear Up for 2024-25 Season: Registration Opened July 1st!
As we dive into the sunny days of summer, hockey might be the last thing on your mind.  After all, who wants to think about ice rinks and cold arenas when there are barbecues to attend and beach days to enjoy?  However, it is crucial to plan ahead for the upcoming 2024-25 hockey season, and here's why!

Why Register Early?

Every year, Owen Sound Minor Hockey sees a surge in registration as the season approaches.  To ensure your child secures a spot in their desired age group, it's important to register as early as possible.  Early registration helps us in organizing teams, plan ice times, and secure coaches and volunteers to make the season a success.  Most importantly, it prevents the disappointment of being placed on a waitlist.

How to Register

Starting July 1st, you can register your child for the upcoming season through our online portal.  The process is straightforward and should only take a few minutes.  Simply visit our Registration WEBPAGE HERE, click on the registration link, and follow the instructions.

A Few Quick Tips

  1. Mark your Calendar:  Set a reminder for yourself to ensure you don't get lost in the summer sun!
  2. Register Early and Save:  Complete your registration before August 1st and enjoy a $50 savings.  More Cash for Summer Splash Adventures!
  3. Gather Information:  Have your players information, including Non-Residency Transaction # if applicable, in hand ready to make the process smoother.
  4. Spread the Word:  Encourage other members to register as early as possible to ensure their players also get a spot.

We understand that summer is a time for relaxation and family fun, but taking a few minutes to register for the upcoming hockey season will save you time and stress later.  Plus, it ensures your child is ready to hit the ice and continue their journey in this amazing sport.

Crescent Athletic Club
The Crescent Athletic Club of Owen Sound, Ontario was envisioned and founded in 1920 by like-minded sportsmen as a viable way to bind interests, commitments and the continuance of minor sports teams in the community. Historically a not-for-profit men's organization with the aim to support local athletic teams. Today the club functions in much the same way it was originally fashioned. A place for members to meet and greet in the club rooms for drinks, camaraderie and some gifted gab. Club banquets and sports events like golf, darts and curling tournaments generate proceeds to help keep the club running and to raise donation funds for minor sports teams in Owen Sound when it is possible to do so. 2022 was a historic year as the Crescent Athletic Club celebrated 102 years.
