Thank you to the retiring executive members
OSMHG would like to extend a sincere thank you to the executive members who retired at the end of the 2015-16 season.

There is over 60 years of experience that is retiring and their contributions and friendships will be greatly missed.  Their dedication to OSMHG is remarkable.

BarbDowney.JPG  Barb Downey most recently held the Past President position and has been involved with the executive since 1987.  Prior to this she was an avid volunteer to the organization.  Barb has taken on many roles over the years including being part of the Ladies Auxillary.  In 2010 Barb was the recipient of the prestigious OMHA - Patricia Hartley award "given in recognition of exemplary service in the field of sports administration."

Barb always has a hockey story to share and had a special way about her in talking with the players.  Her contributions will be dearly missed.

Grant initiated the Josh Olynyk Annual Sick Shot Memorial Road Hockey Tournament that has been well attended for the last 6 years which supports the Ice Magic program.

Tania Tania Deyell has been a hard working member of our executive for 9 years not only in the challenging job of Treasurer, but also finding time to serve as a convenor in our house league program.
GregNicol-s.jpg Greg Nicol has been a member of the executive for the last two years.  Greg has also been a convenor for many house league divisions as well as a coach in both representative and house league divisions.  Greg has coached multiple teams in a season when we we short and needed help.
