Remembering Our Own: Geoffrey Webster and Tyson Downs
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we acknowledge the passing of two bright stars from the Owen Sound Minor Hockey community – Geoffrey Webster, aged 17, and Tyson Downs, aged 18. These young men were not only talented athletes but also beloved members of our close-knit hockey family.

Geoffrey and Tyson, both passionate players who donned the Owen Sound Jr. Attack jerseys with pride, brought joy and camaraderie to the rink and beyond. Their dedication, sportsmanship, and contagious enthusiasm made them cherished teammates and friends, leaving a lasting impact on everyone they touched.
 
This weekend, we will gather as a community to celebrate the lives of Geoffrey Webster and Tyson Downs, remembering the joy they brought to our hearts and the passion they displayed on the ice. The celebration of life services will be a time to honor their legacy and share stories of their incredible impact on and off the hockey rink.
 
As we remember the countless victories and shared moments of laughter on the ice, we also mourn the untimely loss of these remarkable individuals. Their bright smiles, unwavering spirit, and love for the game will forever be etched in our memories.
 
In these difficult times, we stand united as a hockey community, extending our heartfelt condolences to the families and friends of Geoffrey and Tyson. We hold them in our thoughts, offering support and strength during this unimaginable loss.  We encourage all players, coaches, families, and friends to continue to come together as one, paying tribute to Geoffrey and Tyson's legacy, as their spirit will forever be present in every game we play.
