Owen Sound Minor Hockey is excited to announce a significant transition for Representative Hockey, beginning in the 2025-26 season. As part of the Western Ontario Athletic Association (WOAA) pilot initiative, the new Tri-Centre Minor Hockey Organization has been established in partnership with Shallow Lake Minor Hockey and Bruce Peninsula Minor Hockey. This collaboration will form the
Tri-Centre Jr. Attack, providing a unique opportunity for players to compete at both
A-Level and
B-Level Representative hockey.
The Tri-Centre Jr. Attack will field A-Level teams from U10 to U18 and B-Level teams at U11, U13, U15, and U18, ensuring competitive and developmental opportunities for all skill levels. Players not selected for these teams will return to their home associations to participate in tiered Local League programming.
To help our members navigate these changes, we've created a detailed FAQ section addressing key aspects of the transition, including team structure, ice allocation, tryout details, and more. We encourage you to review the FAQs to learn how this initiative will shape the future of hockey in our region.
