Announcing the Launch of the 2024-25 Player/Parent/Guardian Feedback Survey
We are excited to announce the launch of the 2024-25 Player/Parent/Guardian Feedback Survey for Owen Sound Minor Hockey! This survey is a valuable tool in helping us gather feedback from players, parents, and guardians to continue improving the overall experience and opportunities within our hockey community. Your input is crucial in shaping the future of our programs and ensuring we provide the best possible experience for everyone involved.

Why Your Feedback Matters

The feedback you provide will play a key role in refining our programming, enhancing player development, and supporting our coaches. This is your opportunity to help us identify both the successes of the current season and areas where we can continue to grow.

A great example of how last year’s feedback directly impacted our programming is the launch of the Keepers Crease program. Based on your suggestions, we introduced this specialized development initiative for goalies, offering targeted sessions designed to enhance their skills. The success of this program shows how your input can drive positive change, benefiting players across all positions.

Your responses will remain confidential, and your individual identity will not be shared. The survey results will focus on the collective insights provided by the group, which we will use to guide our future efforts.

Survey Details

  • Anonymity: The survey is anonymous, and participants are not required to provide their name or their player's name. However, if you are comfortable doing so, you can include your name for context, which will not affect how your feedback is considered.
  • Team Verification: Each team has been assigned a unique "Team Hockey Word" to ensure that responses are properly grouped and team-specific feedback is included. This helps maintain confidentiality while providing insights specific to each group.
  • Deadline: The survey will close on Monday, February 3rd at midnight. Be sure to complete it before then to ensure your voice is heard!

Encouraging Participation

We ask all families to participate in the survey. The feedback you provide will directly influence the way we improve our programs, player experiences, and coaching support. Whether you are sharing positive feedback or constructive suggestions, your input is valued!

Not Received Your Team Hockey Word?

If you haven’t yet received your Team Hockey Word or need any assistance with accessing the survey, please contact your team manager. Each team manager has been provided with the unique word that corresponds to their team. This Team Hockey Word is essential for keeping responses anonymous while still allowing us to gather valuable team-specific data.

We appreciate your participation and look forward to hearing from you as we work together to improve the Owen Sound Minor Hockey experience for all players and families.

Thank you for your continued support!

Crescent Athletic Club
The Crescent Athletic Club of Owen Sound, Ontario was envisioned and founded in 1920 by like-minded sportsmen as a viable way to bind interests, commitments and the continuance of minor sports teams in the community. Historically a not-for-profit men's organization with the aim to support local athletic teams. Today the club functions in much the same way it was originally fashioned. A place for members to meet and greet in the club rooms for drinks, camaraderie and some gifted gab. Club banquets and sports events like golf, darts and curling tournaments generate proceeds to help keep the club running and to raise donation funds for minor sports teams in Owen Sound when it is possible to do so. 2022 was a historic year as the Crescent Athletic Club celebrated 102 years.
