Montreal, HL Initiation East, 2011-12 (Owen Sound Minor Hockey Group)

 Montreal goal by Myles Playter assist to Ezra Rozenbaum.  Solid effort from Ezra Rosenbaum, Nate Oniszeczko, Dorian Emmerson and Ronan Helder on deffence. Solid offensive efforts from Myles Playter and Geoffrey Webster. Tough 1st period but were able to tie out the second at a goal each. Tyler Morris made a number of key saves.

Alyssa Wayland almost had a break-away and that would have been sweet because this is by far the best game she ever played.   It was Ronan Helder’s turn to play goalie and...what a job he did..he stopped several break-aways, made several key saves and even stopped a  couple of wrap arounds.

Maya Ostrom held strong in net trying to keep Montreal in the game.  The defence was like a brick wall helping Ostrom keeping the puck out of the net.

Tough finish today with a loss of 9-1. Score was still 1-1 half way through second.  Our little guys ran out of gas at this point. Cody Rudolph scored assisted by Isaac Cameron. Ezra Rosenbaum was in net and did his team proud. Stopping pucks with kicks,dives, gloves and facemask and anything else he could throw in front of the puck.

Myles Playter lead the team with scoring four goals for Montreal. Not too far behind him was Nathaniel Oniszeczko with a hat trick. Ezra Rosenbaum helped the team with 2 assists, Jaren Pirie and Myles Playter each with a single assist. The team was down 4-2 and made a come back in the third period to tie it up at 7-7.
