REP - Bantam Minor - Minor Bantams beat Silver Stick champs - Force game 3
Submitted By John Bryja on Sunday, February 10, 2019
The Owen Sound Firefighter Minor Bantam's OMHA playoff run is shaping up to be an exciting one. On Saturday afternoon the Attack defeated the reining International Silverstick Champions in overtime to force a game three.

The Burlington Eagles rolled into town for the Saturday afternoon match up at the Julie McArthur Rec Centre fresh off a 29 game unbeaten streak. Your hometown Attack were up to the challenge, knowing they would need to stay out of the box to have a chance against one of North America's top teams. Saturday's tilt was the cleanest and hardest fought game the Attack have played so far this year.

Josh Dales, Bryce Martin both scored for the Attack with Kaleb Slater scoring the game winner in 7:07 of overtime.

The Attack will now hit the road Sunday afternoon for game 3 of the best of three series. The winner will move on to play Ontario's number one ranked team Center Wellington.
