House League / Local League Update
Submitted By Rick Papke on Friday, July 29, 2016
As previously reported, Owen Sound Minor Hockey will be changing the way it operates it's house league program for some of it's divisions for the upcoming season due to declines in registration numbers over the years.

To clarify, local league hockey is a similar concept to house league hockey except that the local league teams travel to other centres to play up to 50% of their games.  There are no tryouts for local league hockey (same as house league) and all kids signed up will play on a team.  There will be evaluations to make sure that age divisions with multiple teams have similar skill levels.

The following are the proposed playing information for the upcoming 2016-17 season.
