Congratulations to this years award recipients who were recognized at the OSMHG 2011 annual meeting.

Seamus Furness is presented the Rick McComb Memorial Award by Dave McNeill. It is awarded to a representative player in Atom who demonstrates outstanding sportsmanship and leadership!

Chris Slocombe is presented the Michael Walmsely Memorial Award by Barb Downey. It has been awarded for 21 years to a player in the Atom house league who demonstrates outstanding sportsmanship!

Ethan Ostland is presented the Jim Foulds Memorial Trophy by Barb Downey. It has been awarded for the last 23 years to a goalie in bantam house league who best demonstrates perseverance and a love for the game!

Dan Tamming is presented the John Poole Memorial Trophy by Dan Blackburn. It has been awarded for the past 20 years to the most sportsmanlike player in bantam house league.

Logan Roberts is presented the Larry “Charlie  Brown” Memorial Trophy by Dan Blackburn.  It has been sponsored for the last 17 years by the Sunday Mourners Hockey Team and is given to a player in midget house league who best exemplifies willingness to play the game.

Joshua LaFlamme-Mills is presented the Josh Vanwyck Memorial Trophy by Dan Blackburn. The award is presented to the player in midget house league who best demonstrates dedication and "Willingness to Play the Game".

Michael Corrigan is presented the Anthony “Tony” Hesch Award by Rob Currie and Barb Downey. The award has been presented annually for 27 years to the most valuable defenceman on the Crescent Midget hockey team.  Rob was the recipient of this award in 1976 - 25 years ago.

David Taylor is awarded the Kenneth Maurice Whalen Memorial Award given to a minor midget player showing sportsmanship and ability. The award is being presented by Paul & Jean Whalen.  This is the 27th year for this award.
