1. Coaches/Managers must submit a team roster and travel permit, by the end of day on Nov 30th.
2. Coaches or managers are to check in with the tournament office, located on the second floor at the top of the stairs, to complete their game sheets at least 30 minutes prior to game start.
3. Players benches and ice surfaces are to be strictly used by bench staff and players, that appear on the official rosters, only. Parent, fans and all other attendees are prohibited from accessing these areas.
4. All teams must, at all times, have a rostered Coach and a Trainer present during the durration of game play.
5. Players may only participate if they are on the official registered roster and are the appropriate age.
6. All games will be played half ice with the use of half ice boards with small nets
7. Ice pads divided up into “A” end close to the Zamboni entrance and “B” end close to the dressing rooms
8. Blue 4oz pucks will be used
9. Games will consist of 4 on 4 with a goalie. In the event that a team does not have a goalie present, the net will remain empty and a 5th skater may be added. For safety reasons, no player shall occupy the net without the necessary equipment.
10.Goalie equipment must be ice rated (road hockey/ ball hockey equipment is not premitted)
11. Games are 2 periods of 22 minutes, non-stop clock
11.Game lengths will be running time with a buzzer signaling every 2 minutes for line changes
13.Face-offs are used at the start of each period.
14.Teams will be given a minute on ice warm-up prior to starting the game and two minutes between periods.
15.No stoppage of play after a goal, the scoring team must retreat to the vicinity of their net and cannot pressure until the attacking team reaches mid ice.
16.There will be no score kept.
17.There will be NO Penalties, however if a player is being unruly they may be asked to leave the ice for a shift or the remainder of the game.
18. All Coaching Staff, Players, Parents, Fans and other Attendees are reminded that the on ice officials are volunteers from within the Minor Hockey Community. Any complaints or observations of verbal abuse or harrassment of any on ice officials will result in that person being immediately removed from the rink.
