Quik Lube Novice A Post Best Tournament Result!
The Quik Lube Novice A Jr. Attack team posted their best tournament result yet coming 3rd in the Canadian Tire Classic tournament in Barrie over the weekend.  The improved passing, team play and the never ending heart kept them in each game right to the very end!

Friday saw OS win their first game 3-1 over the Quinte West Hawks.  Goals to Ethan Osborne (2) and Andrew Carmichael with three assists to Ewan Muzzell.

The boys played a nail biter against the Barrie Colts ending in a tie 3-3.  Goals to Carmichel (2) and Kaden Zoldy.

Day two opened with another tie against the Ancaster Avalance 4-4, ensuring our spot in the semi-final game Sunday.  Goals to Carmichael (2), Kai Bonterre and Darren Jacques.  Assists to Muzzell, Osborne, Zoldy, Ty Foster, and Josh Rayner.

Saturday also saw the boys lose to Osgoode Rideau in a close 2-1 game.  Goal scored by Rayner and assisted by Brayden Power.  Our goalies and defense-men did a great job keeping us in each of the games.

The semi-final game on Sunday saw the Quick Lube Owen Sound Jr Attack Novice A team lose a well fought battle to the eventual tournament champs the Ancaster Avalanche 7-3.  Goals to Carmichael (2) and Bonterre with assists from Muzzell and Tyson Morrison.

Congrats to all the boys and their bench staff on a successful tournament result!
