Minor Atoms vs Flesherton Rematch
After beating the league leading Flesherton
Golden Hawks at home this past weekend, the Jr. Attack minor atoms traveled to
Flesherton for a rare midweek rematch.
While the Golden Hawks scored early in the first, the Jr. Attack quickly answered back with a chip-in goal by Cody Cox. Flesherton once again took the lead early in the second, but the attack tied the game when Callum Stata slid one past the Flesherton keeper with a well placed backhand. Although Flesherton continued to have several great scoring opportunities, the game ended in a 2-2 draw, thanks in large part to solid goal tending by Noah Lundgren. Assists were earned by Bryce Martin, Cooper Schneider and Cody Cox.
