 The Owen Sound Jr. Attack Canadian Tire Tykes defeated the Coldwater Wildcats in Game 5 of the Georgian Bay Minor Hockey League Novice C Consolation championships. The Tykes take the series 6 points to 4, with a record of 2-1-2. This ended what was an extremely close series with the last 3 games going to overtime.

 The Owen Sound Jr. Attack Canadian Tire Tykes are moving on to a fifth and hopefully deciding game versus the Coldwater Wildcats in the Georgian Bay Novice C consolation final. I say hopefully as the last two games have ended in a tie, even after 10 minutes of overtime in each game. Instead of a best-of-five, it has become a six-point series. Both teams now sit with 4 points after 4 games, with a win the Tykes will be able to close it out in Coldwater this coming Saturday.

 The Owen Sound Jr. Attack Canadian Tire Tykes will face off with the Coldwater Wildcats in a best of five series to determine the winner of the Georgian Bay Minor Hockey League Novice C consolation title. The Tykes enter this series having endured some uneven play the past few games, including a close 3-2 loss in Coldwater in the last game of the round robin.

 The Owen Sound Jr. Attack Canadian Tire Tykes got back on track in Angus on Saturday with a 7-0 win over the Essa Eagles. This decisive win comes on the heels of a disappointing home loss last weekend to the Honeywood Hurricanes.

The Owen Sound Jr. Attack Canadian Tire Tykes returned to winning form on Sunday in Wasaga Beach with a 4-1 win over the home Wasaga Beach Stars. After a tough loss last weekend at home to the Collingwood Blackhawks, the Jr. Attack have now squared their Gerogian Bay Novice C playoff round-robin record at 1-1.
