matthew struthers got the Firefighters on the board in the 1st period on a great 2 way passing play. kurt long then blasted a slap shot from 30 feet out passed the big catching glove of the Hespeler goalie into the top shelf, which proved to be the winner. Goalie Mac Kuglin had a very solid game between the pipes for the Owen Sound crew making some huge saves throughout the game and especially into the 3rd period.
