Great game to watch.

Despite being outshot 22-11 by the Bandits, the Firefighting crew played an all around solid game. After a slow 1st period in the shot department (5) for Netminder Reese Pettigrew, he came to life half way through the 2nd period and made some solid saves including all 11
3rd period shots while his team was shorthanded at various times in the 3rd giving the boys a chance to win it and that is what they did defeating the London Bandits 3-2.
Tanner Prior took a great pass from Matt Lyall and went in alone with only a 1:04 left in the 2nd for the lst Owen Sound Goal. Noah Solinger added the other assist. Then Owen Sound went to work, and scored 2 early 3rd period markers of the sticks of Noah Solinger assisted by Scotter Dodd and Kurt Long, and then Scooter Dodd put one home from Noah Solinger and Josh Batterman. A great game to watch and the boys showed some heart coming from behind to take game 1 in the SSE WIld London Tournament.
