Novice Rep, 2011-12 (Owen Sound Minor Hockey Group)

The team battled back with 4 goals in the third to Beat the Collingwood Hawks 2 games to 1 in the consolation finals.  Collingwood scored on a couple of break aways to take a 3-0 lead into the third.

The Major Novice started off their consolation championship series with a convincing win over Collingwood 5-1.  The team played hard and controlled the game.  Our defence did a great job of closing the gap and holding the puck in at the blue line.

We started our streak last wednesday with a 5-1 win over Georgian Shores.  Aidan Yarde led the way with 4 points with Gavin Downs and Austin Barnard both picking up 3 points each.  Kieran Moore helped out with a goal of his own while Jesse Alguire picked up an assist.  The score was 2-1 going into the third but the boys kept up the pressure and pulled away to victory.

We traveled to Collingwood on thursday night to face them for the first time in our round robin playoff. 

The novice team traveled to Georgetown on Saturday Night to face the Raiders for the second time in the Omha round robin play downs.
