2-1 for the Weekend!
What a weekend - a hat trick, a shut out, and a team that hustled even though we had a small bench!
Friday's game against the Milton Winterhawks did not go our way, but there were moments to celebrate. Our 2 goals were scored by Gryphon Barber and Ben Warwick.
On Saturday we won our game against Burlington Eagles Blue with a final score of 6-1. Michael Maloney was great in net. Our goals were scored by Paddy Shaughnessy-Watkins, Gryphon Barber, Grady Shannon, Ben Warwick (2) and Sam Harrow. Way to go boys!
Our Sunday game was an exciting game. We won 4-0 against the Halton Hills Thunder. Even with a short bench of 10 skaters, we out shot the other team in the second period 25 to 6! Ben Warwick had a hat trick and Paul McKenna had his first shut out (saved all 23 shots)! Our first goal was scored by Gryphon Barber. Every boy had a great game and played their best!!
Way to go U13!! Keep up the winning streak....off to Guelph next Sunday :)
