Silver Stick Collingwood
Great team work happened at the Silver Stick tournament in Collingwood this weekend! We finished 1-2 for the weekend.
This is a small team with a big effort! We played three games and had some great hockey moments!
Friday's game vs Burlington Eagles Gold the score was 3-2 for Burlington. Our goals were scored by Simon Hornick and Ben Warwick. Our MVP for the game was Sam Harrow. Paul McKenna stopped 25 shots on net.
Friday's game vs Niagara Falls Fliers was a big win with a score of 4-1. Ben Warwick had a hat trick and was our MVP of the game. Sam Harrow also scored for our team. Michael Maloney played super well in net!
Saturday's game vs Erie North Shore Storm had a final score of 5-2 for Erie. Ben Warwick and Sam Harrow were our goal scorers. Duke McGlynn was our MVP - great defensive playing! Paul McKenna made some nice saves!
It may not have gone how we wanted but a big shout out to the offensive players, defensive players, and netminders - your effort was strong!! And we had a lot of fun at Boston Pizza and bowling in between games :)
