Spring Thaw Tournament!
Spring Thaw was a fabulous way to end our season! We finished with 1 win, 1 tie, and 2 losses. Great effort U13 rep team!
Our first game we tied Innisfil Winterhawks 3-3. This was the team that went on to win the tournament! Our goals were scored by Keagan McGregor (assisted by Cade Norton); Ben Warwick (assisted by Simon Hornick); and David Bedford (unassisted). David Bedford was award the Grit of the Game (aka Player of the Game).
Our second game we fell short with a loss of 2-1 against Whitby Wildcats White. It was a well played game. Our goal was scored by Ben Warwick (unassisted). Ben was awarded the Player of the Game.
In the third game we faced Peterborough Pete's and had a tough loss of 3-2. Our goals were scored by Sam Harrow (assisted by Gryphon Barber) and Ben Warwick (assisted by Sam Harrow). The player of the game was our goalie Michael Maloney.
Our final game was played against the Glancaster Bombers that ended in a big win! We won 5-3. Our goals were scored by Ben Warwick (unassisted); Cade Norton (assisted by Grady Shannon and Keagan McGregor); Ben Warwick (assisted by Sam Harrow); Sam Harrow (assisted by Grady Shannon); and Simon Hornick (assisted by Keagan McGregor).
It was a fun tourney - a trip to Playdium and a couple team meals helped us to celebrate our season! Thanks to all of our volunteers. That's a wrap for this season!
