The Harold Southerland Major Peewee rep team fell in a close 2-3 result on the road against the Woolwich Wildcats on Saturday. Kashius Keeshig scored both goals for the Attack. Unassisted on the first, Kashius wondered if a player can assist his own goal? He answered that question in the second period, when he fed Cohen Garvie from behind the net, and then jumped in front to bang home the rebound.  

The Harold Sutherland Major Peewee JR Attack wrapped up their regular season with a pair of victories. Friday saw the Attack skate to a 4-3 win over the Caledon Hawks. Scoring for the Attack were Marcus Granjnar Ptok, Cameron Moore, William Hellyer and Kashias Keeshig. Sunday the Harold Sutherland Major Peewee JR Attack dominated the home game at the Bayshore against the visiting Dundas Blues 7-1. The Harold Sutherland Peewee Major JR Attack kicked the weekend off with an exciting double header with away games in Acton and Hespeler. And wrapped it up with a Sunday afternoon matinee at the Bayshore against Oakville.

The Harold Sutherland Peewee JR Attack showed they can compete with the best in the province. The 2017 St Thomas tournament proved to be an ideal measuring stick of the teams development. While coach DJ Selkirk commented, “There is still work to be done”, the 2005 Harold Sutherland Peewee JR Attack battled hard in all four games and finished the tournament with a very respectable GF % of 0.588, tied with the number one provincially ranked St Thomas Stars. Sadly both teams were sent packing on the Saturday, showing how tight the battle is between the province's top A division teams.
