Atom Minor, 2011-12 (Owen Sound Minor Hockey Group)

The BDO Dunwoody Jr Attack hosted the Collingwood Blackhawks on Saturday at the Coliseum where they claimed the GBMHL Championship title defeating Collingwood 2-0 in the best of 3 series. Owen Sound won game 1 of the series in Collingwood 4-1.  Game 2 was in Owen Sound where the Atom's tied the Blackhawks 1-1 forcing a third game on home ice. 

The BDO Dunwoody Jr Attack Minor Atom's hosted Collingwood in GBMHL playoff action on Wednesday at the Bayshore in the championship finals. During two periods of end to end action the score remained tied at 0. The Attack took the lead in the game when Kaleb Martin and Sam Shakes assisted on a one timer netted by Travis Morrison early in the third period. 

The BDO Dunwoody Jr Attack Minor Atom's travelled to Collingwood on Sunday where they defeated the Collingwood Blackhawks 4-1 in the best of 3 championship finals in GBMHL action. The Blackhawks scored less than a minute into the game.

The BDO Dunwoody Jr Attack Minor Atom's travelled to Coldwater on Sunday where they defeated the the Coldwater Wildcats 2-1 in Georgian Bay Minor Hockey League Playoffs. The Attack had several chances in the first period but were unable to capitalize. The first period remained scoreless. The Wildcats took the lead around the 5 minute mark of the second period. Sam Shakes scored with a wrist shot from the left side to tie the game at one early in the third period. Andrew Suchomel scored the go ahead goal unassisted at the mid way mark of the third. The BDO Dunwoody Jr Attack travelled to Meaford on Monday where they faced Georgian Shores in Georgian Bay Playoffs. Reid Vandolder opened the scoring with a slapshot from the point at the mid-way mark of the first period.
