PeeWee Minor, 2018-19, REP (Owen Sound Minor Hockey Group)

Well the season has officially ended for the Peewee Minor Team but it was great 2018/19 Season. Many thanks to Coach Michael Todd and the coaching staff including manager Brad Locking.  Finishing 2nd overall in the East Division of Tri-county, with only a few losses and many wins finishing the season with a record of 33-10-4. The OMHA playoffs did not go exactly as planned but they fought a hard battle Finishing first undefeated in the 1st round then went on to play Oakville where they played hard but fell just short finishing their OMHA playoffs.  A great Season had by all !!

The Owen Sound Garb and Gear Minor PeeWee Jr. Attack picked up 5 out of a possible 6 points this past weekend. Saturday the team traveled to Burlington to take on the division leading (as of that game) Eagles. Burlington tied the game late which ended in a tough 4-4 tie. Sunday saw the Milton Winterhawks - Blue come to town for a double header. Game 1 the Attack scored a late empty netter and gutted out a 4-2 victory. Game 2 saw a disciplined team effort ending with a 5-2 final for the Attack. The team hits the road Friday night to take on the Brampton 45s and then a quick turn around ...

The Garb and Gear Minor PeeWee Jr. Attack went 2 for 3 this weekend. On Friday, the Jr. Attack flexed their offensive muscles and defeated the Halton Hills Thunder 8-4 at the Bayshore. On Saturday, the team travelled to Elmira to take on the Woolwich Wildcats. Unfortunately, they came out on the short end of the 4-3 contest. Sunday couldn't come soon enough as they got right back at it with a Hwy. 6 battle against the Guelph Gryphons. Our Jr. Attack got out to a 3-0 lead and managed to send the Gryphs packing.
