Bantam Major, 2016-17 (Owen Sound Minor Hockey Group)

The Jr. Attack Major Bantams demonstrated that with a little volunteer team effort, a significant impact can be made for local charity.   The team successfully raised $1070 in a few short hours by hustling tables at Boston Pizza.

Sunday December 11th (5-8pm) Boston Pizza Owen Sound -  Come join the Owen Sound Major Bantams as they get schooled in the art of dishing up great food at Boston Pizza.  This fundraising initiative is part of Boston Pizza’s corporate philosophy of giving back to local charities.  The only catch is they make you work for it.  

The Owen Sound Major Bantams stuffed the Salvation Army truck with the 749 lbs of food they collected on their Halloween Food Drive.  

The Major Bantams are helping the Salvation Army Food Bank by organizing a food drive, and ask you for your support with the donation of non perishable food items.  This will be the second year that our team has been involved in assisting this important cause. Last season we were able to deliver 1204 lbs of food due to the generosity of people like you.
