Atom Major, 2010-11 (Owen Sound Minor Hockey Group)

The Leeder & Associate Major Atoms won their 3rd straight game of the series with Stayner at the Bayshore by a score of 9-1 on sunday afternoon . The team played a much better game than friday from start to finish and was highlighted by a great  Penalty Shot save by Lucas Pfeil. The atoms await their next opponent .

The Leeder & Associate Major Atom Jr. Attack started out slowly tonight in Stayner in game # 2 of their Georgian Bay Playoffs . They finished strong with a 3-0 victory with Malachi Albrecht recording the shut out and was assisted by the Captain Connor Roberts with 2 goals including a short handed goal and Shawn Keuken chipping in one goal. The Atoms are next in action on Sunday at 2:30 at the Bayshore to try and close out the series.

The Leeder & Associates Major Atoms won their first game of the Georgian Bay Playoffs 6-O over Stayner while being short 5 players . The 10 players played really well and Lucas Pfeil recorded the shut out . The Atoms continue the series next weekend in Stayner.

The Leeder & Associates Major Atoms had  a big win friday night to stay alive in their OMHA round robin series . After falling behind 2-0 in the first period the Major Atoms settled down and scored 3 unanswered goals , 2 by Connor Roberts and the game winner by Shawn Keuken late in the 3rd. The JR Attack are in action tomorrow at 2:30 vs Centre Wellington.

The Leeder and Associates Major Atoms split their series with Hespler with a OT loss in Hespler on Sunday afternoon. With a early goal by Hayden Coulter the atoms battled all game but lost in overtime . They are next in action on friday with a trip to Caledon.
