A loss in Erin.
After a 2 hour drive to Erin to meet up with the Erin Hillsborough Devil's the McDonald's Owen Sound Jr. Attack Select kids struggled to get control of their legs once they hit the ice.

With our goaltender away,  Attack Forward Noah Lundgren volunteered to strap on the pads for what would prove to be a game dominated by the Devil's and with a number of Attack players away enjoying the March Break we definitely found ourselves at a loss on this beautiful sunny day in Erin.

Once again, the Erin team hit the ice with confidence, skated hard and left very little breathing room for the Attack.  Rylan Cosman of the Devil's dominated the ice with 3 goals and an assist and when this young player had the puck you literally just watched the show - he had an amazing game and was a leader out on the ice.  During shift changes the Devil's took full advantage and numerous times Cosman was right out in front working his magic.

Morgan Armstrong of the Attack was able to get the Attack on the board when he slid one past the Devil's goaltender in the 2nd period assisted by Grant Hart.  Seth Montero followed with one of his own in the 3rd but the Devil's left very few scoring opportunities for the Attack.

Coach Dave Vankooten stated it was a difficult game because we had forwards playing defence, everyone was all over the place and those that did play their position were not in the right spot.   He stated that forward (playing goaltender) Noah Lundgren was amazing in net and the score should have been a lot higher but he did a fantastic job (having stopped 20+ shots).

Vankooten told the kids that he did not want to see any of them hanging their heads because they played an excellent team who had a great game and they (the Attack) didn't give up.  He reminded the kids that they have to play their positions and work as a team.

Final Score:  6-2 loss for the Attack.

Next time the Select hit the ice will be March 28th-30th at the Barrie Select Tournament.

Connect Rehabilitation|Yoga|Fitness
CONNECT opened in May 2019 out of a need for MORE. More 1-on-1 time with our patients, more time learning about you and your goals, and more focus on doing the things that we know will help you in the long term. That meant creating a space that provided more than just the highest quality physiotherapy, chiropractic, and massage therapy services. It meant we needed a space where we could empower people to take active control of their health, and provide them with the specialized group fitness, yoga, and cycle classes that they needed to accomplish that. CONNECT is an enigma in both the healthcare world and the fitness world. We don't fit nicely into either box, but we know that the way that we bring the two together is going to help change the way we think about and manage our own health.

Crescent Athletic Club
The Crescent Athletic Club of Owen Sound, Ontario was envisioned and founded in 1920 by like-minded sportsmen as a viable way to bind interests, commitments and the continuance of minor sports teams in the community. Historically a not-for-profit men's organization with the aim to support local athletic teams. Today the club functions in much the same way it was originally fashioned. A place for members to meet and greet in the club rooms for drinks, camaraderie and some gifted gab. Club banquets and sports events like golf, darts and curling tournaments generate proceeds to help keep the club running and to raise donation funds for minor sports teams in Owen Sound when it is possible to do so. 2022 was a historic year as the Crescent Athletic Club celebrated 102 years.
