Owen Sound Minor Hockey is excited to announce that registration is now open for the 2025–26 Cub Academy — our dedicated skill development program for U8–U13 players looking to grow their game in a fun, structured, and supportive environment.
About the Program
Cub Academy focuses on building a strong foundation of hockey skills to help young players reach their potential. Sessions are designed to improve skating, puck control, passing, shooting, and game awareness — all while emphasizing confidence, teamwork, and a love for the game.
Program Highlights
- Foundational Skill Development: Technical coaching on skating, puck control, passing, and shooting.
- Preparing for Success: Develop individual skills, learn tactical play, and build the teamwork needed for higher-level hockey.
- Confidence & Growth: A positive, supportive environment where players can have fun and improve every week.
Program Details
- U8 Program Fee: $50 per season (1 session every other week)
- U9–U13 Program Fee: $75 per season (1 session per week)
- Eligibility: Open to all U8 to U13 players registered with Owen Sound Minor Hockey
- Schedule: November to January, primarily morning sessions
