U4/U5 “My First Jersey Day” – Celebrating Our Youngest Players
There were plenty of smiles and excitement this past weekend as our U4/U5 Timbits players received their very first hockey jerseys during “My First Jersey Day” at Tim Hortons, 1595 16th Street East in Owen Sound.

U4/U5 My First Jersey Day

A huge thank you to Bill and Sarah Trude, along with their wonderful staff, for hosting this special event and for their continued support of Owen Sound Minor Hockey. Their partnership through the Tim Hortons Timbits Hockey Program helps make the first hockey experience truly memorable for our youngest players and their families.

“My First Jersey Day” is a national initiative by Tim Hortons that invites Timbits players and their families to their local restaurant to receive their first-ever “Rookie Year” hockey jersey and socks. Coaches helped distribute team gear, while the Tim Hortons team provided complimentary treats and joined in celebrating the start of each child’s hockey journey.

It’s always heartwarming to see our newest players proudly wear their first hockey jersey—marking the beginning of many great memories to come!
