Are you passionate about hockey and looking for a way to give back to the community? Owen Sound Minor Hockey is excited to announce that we are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to fill coaching positions for our local league teams across all age groups: U11, U13, U15, and U18.

Support and Development

At Owen Sound Minor Hockey, we understand that leading a team can seem daunting, especially if you’re new to coaching or feel unsure about your hockey knowledge. That’s why we provide support and resources to help you grow in your role. Our dedicated Coach and Player Development programs as well as experienced mentors are here to guide you every step of the way. We’ll help you build your skills, understand the game better, and learn effective techniques for developing young players.

Crescent Athletic Club
The Crescent Athletic Club of Owen Sound, Ontario was envisioned and founded in 1920 by like-minded sportsmen as a viable way to bind interests, commitments and the continuance of minor sports teams in the community. Historically a not-for-profit men's organization with the aim to support local athletic teams. Today the club functions in much the same way it was originally fashioned. A place for members to meet and greet in the club rooms for drinks, camaraderie and some gifted gab. Club banquets and sports events like golf, darts and curling tournaments generate proceeds to help keep the club running and to raise donation funds for minor sports teams in Owen Sound when it is possible to do so. 2022 was a historic year as the Crescent Athletic Club celebrated 102 years.
