Crescents Win Two on Weekend
Crescents posted a pair of weekend wins led by a shutout from Ethan Woods on Friday night and the return of Justin McCrae on Sunday.
Friday night at the Bayshore Crescents beat up on Hespeler Shamrocks 8 - 0
Spencer Elder and Daniel Bureau each had a pair and singles went to Alex Muzzell,Nathan Roy, Graydon McArthur and Foxton Mezenberg. Elder also had 3 assists, 3 assists to Jon Frook , Foxton had a pair and Bureau with a pair. Single assists went to Graydon McArthur, Dylan Brown, Chris Bumstead, Matt Giefert and Nathan Roy. Ethan woods stopped all shots faced to earn the shut-out.
Sunday Aft in New Hamburg was a closer, chippy game with the Crescent coming out on top 3 - 1.
McCare, Frook and Elder each had singles. Assists went to Foxton Mezenberg and Graydon McArthur set up two of goals. Andrew Rutherford was solid between the pipes.
