Owen Sound played host to the visiting Collingwood Blackhawks on Saturday. Owen Sound was on its way to the season's first win, holding the lead over Collingwood until late in the third. The Owen Sound penalty kill was flawless on the night for both of collingwoods power play attempts. The win was not to come as Collingwood was able to tie the game with just 6 minutes left then at the 3 minute mark a loose puck deflected off a stick and then a skate to find the back of the owen sound net.
