HL Atom, 2011-12 (Owen Sound Minor Hockey Group)

The Owen Sound Maple Lodge Atom Selects were on the road on Sunday against the Stayner AE team.  

December 29th, 2011    Coliseum Schedule is now posted on the Atom House League web site! Each team plays 3 games throughout the day.  There will be lunch provided for all players and coaches. Check the calendar for your teams times! 

A big thank-you to everyone who came out on Saturday evening for the Atom Select Team Tryout.  As you know we had 30 kids on the ice competing for only 17 spots.  The coaching staff was thrilled to have that many players interested in the team.  Everyone should be proud of themselves for competing hard!  All of the coaches agreed that it was difficult job to decide on the team roster.  Those of you who did not make the team should hold your head high and not be disappointed!  Just trying out is an accomplishment on its own!  Congratulations to all who made the team.  We look forward to ...

With our first official week under our belts I'd like to thank everyone for their patience during the start up of our season.  Its all happened so fast and I appreciate everyones assistance in making this happen.  We have all had 1 practice and 1 game to date and I'm sure we all look forward to more ice time.  We have incorporated games, practices, and powerskating into the next few months so as to have a nice variety of both competition and skill development.  Stay tuned for updates as required!  I encourage everyone to check the scheduled regularly as there may be changes.  A note to all ...
