Crescents grab 4 points over Thanksgiving Weekend
The Owen Sound Crescent Club Midgets had a successful opening weekend in Tri County action taking 4 of 6 points.

Game 1 Friday night @ the Bayshore saw the Crescents take a close one 2-1 vs the Elmira Jr. Sugar Kings. Scoring for Owen Sound, Jesse Carnahan and Griffin Boyd. Assists went to Hayden Coulter (2), Nathan Schwartz.

Reese Pettigrew got the win between the iron grids stopping 23 of 24 Elmira shots

Game 2 Saturday afternoon @ the Bayshore was a tilt against last years rival the Hespeler Shamrocks. Hespeler came out on top in this tilt, scoring a late 3rd period see and eye marker, to edge Owen Sound 3-2. Owen Sound had goals from Griffin Boyd and Jesse Carnahan with assists going to Brady Brown, Noah Rouse and Tanner Prior.
Jack Armstrong played well between the twine, but unfortunately took the loss stopping 27 of 30 Hespeler shots.

Game 3 on Thanksgiving Sunday saw the Crescent Club Midgets heading to Brampton for a 6pm tilt. Turkey Dinner would have to wait until Monday. Owen Sound came out on top of this one scoring 3 goals in the 3rd, to come home with a 6-2 win. Scoring for the Crescents, Kurt Long (2), Brady Brown, Tayan MacMillan, Mitch McComb, and Hayden Coulter. Assists went to Brady Brown (3), Kurt Long (2), Mitch McComb, Nathan Schwartz, Jesse Carnahan and Tayan MacMillan.
Reese Pettigrew had a strong game between the pipes to get the win, stopping 39 of 41 Brampton shots.
