That's a Wrap!
Another season of hockey has come to an end for this group of great boys!  The playoffs didn't go as hoped but there were many great moments.  

Here are some of the playoff highlights: starting off with a win; David Bedford getting his first goal; Ben Warwick getting a hat trick; going into OT 3 times (1 ended in a tie); taking one last team bus ride together; Jaxson Mooney getting his first goal; and all the great team effort!

A recap of the final game against the Guelph Gryphons:   It was an exciting end to our playoffs.  Went into OT against Guelph - a team that advanced to the next round.  We lost 6-5.   The first goal was scored by Paddy Shaughnessy-Watkins; assisted by Gryphon Barber and Alex Jarman.  Jaxson Mooney scored; assisted by Cade Norton.  Three goals were scored in the 3rd period to take the game to OT.  Paddy Shaughnessy-Watkins scored a second goal; assisted by Darion Hicks and Gryphon Barber.  Holden Cosby scored a power play goal, unassisted.  Gryphon Barber scored, unassisted.  Good effort boys!

Thanks to all the families, coaches, players, and volunteers for making this a great season. A special thanks to our Captain Gryphon Barber and Assistant Captains Tysen Gass and Grady Shannon for their leadership this year.  Have a great off season everyone!!

Crescent Athletic Club
The Crescent Athletic Club of Owen Sound, Ontario was envisioned and founded in 1920 by like-minded sportsmen as a viable way to bind interests, commitments and the continuance of minor sports teams in the community. Historically a not-for-profit men's organization with the aim to support local athletic teams. Today the club functions in much the same way it was originally fashioned. A place for members to meet and greet in the club rooms for drinks, camaraderie and some gifted gab. Club banquets and sports events like golf, darts and curling tournaments generate proceeds to help keep the club running and to raise donation funds for minor sports teams in Owen Sound when it is possible to do so. 2022 was a historic year as the Crescent Athletic Club celebrated 102 years.
