Minor Bantam Firefighters Advance in OMHA's
The Owen Sound Attack Minor Bantam Firefighters squad emerged at the top of their very competitive round robin series, eliminating both Ancaster and Halton Hills in the process.

Saturday's match up at the Julie McArthur Rec Centre saw the Attack skate to a solid 4-2 victory over the visiting Halton Hills Thunder. Goals scored by Marcus Grajnar Ptok, Bryce Martin, Cameryn Moore, and Brett Warrilow. With the victory, Owen Sound's fate was firmly in their hands.

A victory or tie against Ancaster on Sunday and Owen Sound would move on. A loss against Ancaster would result in a three way tie for first. That's how tight the division is!

Ancaster came out hard from the puck drop, and pushed Owen Sound in an exciting final game of the round robin series. Regulation time wasn't enough to decide this one, as the teams battled to a 2-2 tie after 3 periods. Bryce Martin scored the pair of goals in regulation time. The Attack took control in overtime, and Cohen Garvie scored the game winner.

The Owen Sound Minor Bantam Firefighter Attack now wait to see if they will be playing Burlington or Oakville in the next round of the Ontario Minor Hockey Association play downs.
