The Harold Sutherland Jr Attack Peewee’s brought home the gold from the Mary Parkinson early bird tournament in Richmond Hill this past weekend! It was an exciting weekend. Impassable defense, never ending offence, and goalies making huge saves earning shutouts and robbing the competition. Even a penalty shot in the championship game. The team showed up to win; and win they did with an undefeated 6-0-0 record.
Barrie and Pickering couldn’t find the back of the jr Attacks net and were shutdown 2-0 and 4-0. Whitby and Markham each fell 6-1 to commanding performances from the team advancing them to the semi final. Don Mills showed up to play in the semi final game, but not as hungry as Owen Sound. Don Mills was defeated 3-2 advancing Owen Sound to the Championship game against Milton. The championship game didn’t disappoint, it was an action packed game that ended in an OT 3 on 3 win 2-1!
It was a great start to the season!!!
