PeeWee Minor Begin OHMA Playoffs
The Garb & Gear PeeWee Minor Jr. Attack started OMHA playoffs this past weekend.

Friday night the PeeWee Minor hosted the Halton Hills Thunder in a nail biting 5 – 4 win in OT.  Aiden Stanley scored in the bottom of the first period to open the scoring.  Nate Garrett and Hunter Stewart picked up the assists.  In period 2 the team kept the pressure on with Stanley picking up his second of the game with Garrett getting the assist.  Less than 2 minutes later Duff McGrogan would score with Stanley and Garrett assisting.  However Halton Hills would also score 2 quick goals to shorten the gap.  Nolan Edmonstone would score to help widen the gap again.  Stanley and Garrett picked up the assists.  Halton Hills opened period 3 with a quick goal.  With the Halton Hills goalie pulled late in the period they really applied the pressure to the Attack and was able to tie it up just under 2 minutes left of regulation time.  Overtime brought on some really good chances by both teams.  However at 1:26 left of overtime and a face off in Thunder territory allowed Morgan Armstrong to score with McGrogan assisting.

Saturday the team visited Centre of Wellington Fusion in a 5 – 1 win.  Armstrong opened it up late in period 1 with Edmonstone assisting.  Just over a minute later Garrett would tuck one past the goalie with the help from Bennett Carr and Seth Stewart.  Fusion scored the only goal in period 2.  H. Stewart opened period 3 with a goal from Stanley and McGrogan picking up the assists.  Almost 2 minutes later Stanley would score again with S. Stewart and Leighton Hurst assisting.  Once again, 2 minutes later Armstrong picked up his second of the game with Ethen Williams and Keltan Berner picking up the assists.

Sunday the PeeWee Minor fell short to the hosting Burlington Eagles 2 – 1.  No scoring in the first period.  The Eagles scored quickly in period 2.  Then on a power play the Eagles would score again to make it 2 – 0.  The Attack kept the pressure on the Eagles.  Finally with just under 6 minutes of play S. Stewart would score.  Stanley and Jacob Gole picked up the assists.
