The Owen Sound Garb & Gear PeeWee Minor Jr. Attack were in action all weekend.
Friday evening the PeeWee Minor Jr. Attack hosted the Hespeler Shamrocks in a 4 - 0 win. Nate Garrett opened up the scoring early in the second period with Seth Stewart and Aiden Stanley assisting. S. Stewart made it 2 - 0 late in the second with Ethan Williams and Leighton Hurst picking up the assists. Will McMillan picked up his first goal of the season early in the third period with the help from S. Stewart and Hunter Stewart. S. Stewart would get his second of the game three minutes later with Garrett and McMillan getting the assists to end the game.
On Saturday the PeeWee Minor made the long drive down to Dundas to face off against the Blues in a 3 - 0 loss.
After a good night's rest the PeeWee Minor travelled to Elmira to go against the Woolwich Wildcats in a 4 - 1 victory. The Wildcats opened the scoring just over 3 minutes into the game. The PeeWee Minor would tie it up almost half way into the second period with S. Stewart getting the goal and H. Stewart assisting. Duff McGrogan scored with 3 minutes left of period 2. Stanley and Dominic Thomas picked up the assists. Just over a minute into the third period, Morgan Armstrong scored with Bennett Carr and Garrett assisting. Armstrong then scored again with Garrett picking up the assist.
Next home game is Friday December 22 at 7:30 pm at the Rec. Centre against the Caledon Hawks.
